The 4-day retreat, scheduled May 10 - 14, 2023, provides disabled poets with a range of professional development and community-building opportunities.

Zoeglossia is a literary organization that is seeking to pioneer an inclusive space for poets with disabilities. Much like its forbearers Canto Mundo, Kundiman, Cave Canem, Vona, and Lambda Literary, Zoeglossia strives to create an open and supportive community that fosters creativity and provides professional development for poets with disabilities. During an annual, 4-day retreat, poets from all backgrounds will have the chance to workshop with established writers, and give and attend panel discussions and readings. People of color and queer and trans folks are highly encouraged to apply.
